This website is operated by Udaan Paper Industries Limited (CIN: U70100MP1986PLC003414), with its registered office at 445–446, Sector 3, Pithampur, District Dhar, Madhya Pradesh 454777, India. In this policy, “Udaan”, “we” and “us” refer to the company.

This policy explains how we handle personal data when you visit this website or contact us. It is published in line with the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 and the Information Technology Act, 2000.

What we collect

You can browse this website without telling us who you are. We do not use accounts, online ordering, advertising trackers or analytics cookies.

We receive personal data only when you choose to contact us, for example by using the enquiry form, emailing or calling us. This can include:

• your name, company name, email address and phone number;
• the details of your packaging, logistics, career or investor enquiry; and
• anything else you choose to include in your message.

The enquiry form does not send data to our servers. It prepares a draft in your own email application, and we receive the details only if you send that email.

Technical information

Our hosting provider automatically processes limited technical information, such as your IP address, browser type and the pages requested, to deliver the website securely and protect it against misuse. Some investor documents are displayed through Google Drive, which may process similar technical information under Google’s own privacy policy. We do not use this information to identify or profile visitors.

How we use your data

We use the personal data you give us only to:

• respond to your enquiry and prepare quotations or proposals;
• supply products and logistics services you request from us;
• consider job applications and handle investor and shareholder queries; and
• meet our legal, regulatory and accounting obligations.

We process this data on the basis of your consent, which you give by contacting us, or where the law permits or requires it. We do not sell your personal data or use it for unrelated marketing.

Who we share it with

We share personal data only where it is needed for the purposes above, with:

• service providers who host our website and email, under appropriate confidentiality obligations;
• our registrar and share transfer agent, Bigshare Services Private Limited, for investor matters;
• transport partners, where needed to deliver an order you have placed; and
• regulators, courts or government authorities, where the law requires it.

How long we keep it

We keep enquiry correspondence only for as long as needed to respond to you and manage any resulting business relationship. Records that form part of contracts, invoices or statutory filings are kept for the periods required by Indian law. After that, the data is deleted or anonymised.

Security

We use reasonable technical and organisational safeguards to protect personal data against unauthorised access, loss or misuse. No method of transmission over the internet is completely secure, so please avoid sending sensitive information, such as bank details, by email.

Your rights

Subject to applicable law, you may ask us to:

• tell you what personal data we hold about you and how it is used;
• correct, complete or update it;
• erase it, where we no longer need it; or
• withdraw your consent to its future use.
